Looking for a chill place where you can work, shop and have a drink? Conceptstore Portrait Haarlem might just be for you!

Portrait has become one of my favourite Hotspots in Haarlem, after discovering it just a while ago (thanks Kim!) The simplicity of the place, filled with Scandinavian design pieces, cool vintage finds, and amazing soft light make for a quiet and laid back atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that you’ll love hanging out in, alone or with friends.

It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.

But that’s not the only reason I wanted to introduce you to Portrait. I am also very inspired by the story behind this cool concept. Three young entrepreneurs turned their dream and passion into reality. Karen, Daisy and Rogier have created “a place where you can work, brainstorm, shop and drink good coffee.”  A place they would love to be in, with such a simple and genuine concept. I think that things that are made with passion always stand out.

Besides having a drink or something to eat, you can basically shop everything in the store, from the clothes to the furniture and accessories. You love it, you can take it home. So cool!

Decorating with metal accents is really a thing lately, and there were a few nice pieces, like this metal basket that you could use to store your favourite magazines or who knows what. Would be a great addition to your desk wouldn’t it?

If you are a tea kind of girl, you might be delighted to know that they serve and sell tea from Evermore.

I also spotted some interesting cosmetics like soaps and bath salts from Dutch brand Puur Zeep and some organic oils and body lotions made from natural ingredients from Swidish brand L:A BRUKET. These look like they definitely are worth a try!
