For the lovers of spiritual health and physical activity, Yoga Festival Romania was a relaxing weekend filled with classes and activities to escape our daily routines and emerge into the world of yoga, healthy living, meditation and wellness.
Last weekend I had the privilege to participate and document the first edition of Yoga Festival Romania, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. Surrounded by a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, I enjoyed trying new styles of yoga, and meeting some of the lovely teachers who attended the event. A great way to connect mind and body, and start the week refreshed!
On it’s first edition, the Yoga Festival Romania was organised with a lot of passion by the lovely international couple behind Fitness Scandinavia, Veronica & Richmond. They wanted to introduce yoga to the participants, as a healthy physical and mental practice and to offer a beautiful experience of practice for the more experienced ones.
For me it proved to be an amazing weekend. I especially enjoyed the Himalayan Hatha Yoga class, taught by Rezan. With a dynamic and relaxing flow, the class incorporated the aspects of traditional yoga classes, like breathing, meditation and postures, while still feeling very natural and intuitive, allowing you to practice at your own pace. My favourite way to end the practice was with a healthy drink from Cold Pressed Juicery. The make the most delicious 100% fresh cold-pressed juices. Definitely a must-try if you you haven’t done so already!
