The Hague (den Haag) is a surprising city: a mix between the old and the modern, with fairytale-like architecture perfectly and a modern skyline. It’s the place where you can go shopping in the city center and just a few steps away, pass by Paleis Noordeinde, where the king works. Isn’t that cool?
Places to see
The city has a rather nostalgic and surreal vibe, with all it’s great architecture and it’s very culturally active. In den Haag there is always a new exhibition opening, festival going on a great museum to visit. Strolling around the Binnenhof Palace (Dutch Parlament), Hofvijver and Mauritshuis feels like going back in time.. It’s something you have to experience!
